Before I started working at Darby O’Brien, I would always see XLERATOR dryers in bathrooms, and now I do design work for them… funny how that works. Based in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, Excel Dryer specializes in the manufacturing of the touchless line of high-speed XLERATOR® Hand Dryers for hygienic, cost-effective, and sustainable hand drying.
I was asked to do many custom dryer cover designs, print ad designs, web ads, video projects, and even website homepage launch designs. Creating custom cover designs is one of my favorite projects, it allows me to really be expressive and work outside the box to create a design that wraps around the entire dryer.

Creating custom dryer covers is a job I tackle every couple of months for Excel Dryer. We were asked to design custom animal covers for the children’s department in ABC Medical Center, a medical specialty center located in Santa Fe and Observatorio within Mexico City, Mexico.

Here we have another round of cover designs for Tecnológico de Monterrey, a private research university based in Monterrey, Mexico. We used images of the beautifuly designed university buildings, other nearby sites in Mexico, and the logo as a tile pattern design to create these unique custom covers.
